2010 New iMac Review
Plus the even newer magic Trackpad for touch control…
Now with fats-running, low power-sucking Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core 17 processors, the new iMac range is Apple’s fastest yet, while to handle the demands of 3D graphics, Apple has added more powerful ATi Radeon graphics processors. The range is topped by 27-inch monster with 2.8GHz Core i5 or 2.93GHz Core i7 processor, 1GB ATi Radeon HD 5750, storage up to 2TB hard drive or lightning fast 256GB solid-state drive – or if you’re feeling flush, you can have both.
RAM goes up to an entirely preposterous 16GB. You can also add multi-touch and pinch-to-zoom functionality to Apple desktops, with the new Magic Trackpad.

The Mac pro now boasts up to 12 processing cores – two six-core 3.33GHz chips. it’s up to 50% faster than the old Mac Pro

- 27-Inch LED Cinema Display
Add this 27-inch, 16:9, glass-fronted display with 2,560 x 1,400 resolution to your Pro

- Battery Charger

The Magic Trackpad won’t replace the humble mouse anytime soon. It jazzes up how you navigate web pages and view photos but it’s not cut for serious tasks. It takes time to master the variety of swipes and gestures necessary to make use of all the Magic Trackpad’s functions. However, this and Apple’s iOS interface could be an indicator of how we’ll interact with desktops in the future.
