ACER STREAM
The Acer Stream’s 24fps 720p recordings look acceptable on the handset’s 3.7-inch, 800×480-pixel AMOLED display. However. when transferred to a computer screen or TV via HDMI, footage is disappointingly washed out and lacks sharpness. There’s no light, which is a big issue when shooting indoors. The small, fiddly record button is also an irritation.
Elsewhere. with a five-megapixel stills camera. 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB memory and up to 32GB storage available on microSD this is a decent Android phone, if a slightly plasticky one, but it’s no video star.
(+) Sharp screen. HDMI
(-) Weak, washed outvideo results. No flash
