Advent Vega and Amico Android Tablet PC
The tablet market is exploding, and OSG (aka Currys. Dixons and PC World) wants a piece of the action. the company has launched two Android-based touchscreen tablet PCs – the /in-screen Adven: Amico and 10in-screen Advent Vega. The 14mm-thick Vega supports multitouch inpu: and is supplied with a 4GB memory card. It’s powered by a IGHz nVidia Tegra 2 dual- core processor and runs Android version 2.2. Other specifications include a I.3Mp webcam, Wi-Fi connectivity and an SD Card slot. The smaller Amiga offers no possibility of memory expansion and it runs the slightly older 2.1 Eclair version of Android. It does offer Wi-Fi support, however. Both tablets should last 10 hours on a single charge.
