Canon has an impressive range of digital cameras and the 10MP IXUS 3ooHS is a worthy but expensive addition.  As with most of the cameras here, automation is the key – everything from flash settings to scene modes can be automatically configured. The auto-focus is particularly impressive, especially using the 3.8x optical zoom, and the 3-inch LCD screen is fantastically sharp. Canon’s software must be first installed on your laptop, however, before you can copy images over.
