Dell was due to start selling its wacky-looking Inspiron Duo convertible-screen tablet at press time. Dell equips the device with a 1.5GHz N550 dual-core Atom processor and a dedicated HD graphics acceleration chip. Other specifications are more standard, and include 2GB of RAM and a 32068 hard-disk drive. The modest hardware list allows the clever switching screen to take centre stage. This, along with the shiny red and black styling and the inclusion of Windows 7 Home Premium Edition, gives the Duo some serious appeal.
