LG Blade P430 and P530 Laptops – Offer High-End Specs
LG has made big strides into the high-end laptop market with the arrival of its Blade range of laptops. The P430 and P530 are a pair of ultra-slim laptops that come in 14- and 15.6-inch screen sizes respectively and measure just 23.8mm in thickness. When it comes to what is under the hood, there’s a Core i7 chip powering the notebooks, alongside nVidia GeForce GT520M graphics.
The clever thing about the new Blade range of laptops is that LG has managed to squeeze the screens into what are normally chassis made for smaller sizes.
For example, the 14-inch notebook is in a body normally meant for a 13.3-inch screen size. LG is also making the boast that the P430 and P53o’s bezels are 40 per cent thinner than other notebooks in their class. The spec sheet that’s been released is as thin as the laptops, all we know so far is that they will come with a 1.3-megapixel HD webcam, SRS audio processing tech and DLNA connectivity.
Pricing is still to be unveiled, but we should see them in stores come June.
