MSI Wind U135DX: MSI’s Latest Netbook Claims to be Fastest Ever
Following the success of the critically acclaimed Wind U16o, MSI has launched the Wind U135DX – a 10-inch netbook that uses Intel’s latest Atom processor and MSI’s Turbo Drive Engine (TDE) technology and comes with claims of being the fastest netbook yet.
Powered by an Intel Atom N455processor running at 1.66GHz and backed by up to 2048MB of high-speed DDR3 memory, MSI’s TDE technology can also be activated to overclock the dual-core CPU fora temporary boost in performance.
The 1.2kg chassis features MSI’s Colour Film Print coating to protect against scratches. With an isolation-style keyboard and a touchpad that is 20% wider than on previous Wind netbooks, excellent usability is promised.
Using ECO engine power-saving technology, MSI claims up to seven hours of mobility from a single charge of the battery. Available next month from Argos,the Wind L/135DX costs £229.
