Panasonic Lumix GF2 Digital Camera
MicroFourThirds cameras are now firmly established, offering compact dimensions and interchangeable lenses. Panasonic has launched more of them than anyone, and is now trying to beat rival manufacturers in this popular camera category with a model that’s noticeably smaller. The Lumix GF2 is a full 19 percent smaller than last year’s GF1, for example. It has a 3in touchscreen menu and offers full 1080i AVCHD video capture with its own dedicated selection button. There’s no top-mounted jog dial, however, so it’s a good job early reports suggest the onscreen menu is responsive and the interface fast.
