Samsung’s Q-Series is to be boosted by three new thin and light laptops, offering the power of Intel’s Core i3 technology in a sturdy yet portable chassis.
The smallest model is the ultraportable 13.3-inch Q330, which weighs just under 2kg. The Core i3 CPU should offer fantastic performance, becked up by 3072MB of memory and integrated GBU for basic multimedia task. Storage is plentiful at 320GB and it even includes a DVD drive.
The 14-inch Q430 weighs just over 2kg, but that extra space is put to good use with 4069MB of memory available and a dedicated nVidia GeForce graphics card for improved multimedia performance.
At 2.3kg, the Q530 is the heaviest of the new arrivals, but still potable. Storage is increased to 500GB, while a more powerful nVidia GeForce graphics card is issued.
All three models feature Samsung’s isolated-style keyboard, with firm keys that we found a pleasure to type on.
All three laptops are available this month, with pricing not yet to be conformed.
