Toshiba Satellite A665: Toshiba’s First 3D Laptop
New Toshiba Satellite jumps on the 3D bandwagon…
Toshiba has released the multimedia-focused Satellite A665, which is also its first foray into the world of 3D, with full support for 3D content in place.
The 15 6-inch machine features a 1366 x 768-pixel resolution and is powered by graphics technology manufacturer nVidia’s 3D Vision product. This uses a pair of glasses to create a 3D effect for compatible content, such as games and films.
A dedicated nVidia GeForce GTS 350M graphics card provides the graphical power, while an Intel Core i7 processor and 4096MB of memory should prove very capable in dealing with everyday tasks. A Blu-ray drive is also included for watching high-definition (HD) movies.
Sadly, review samples weren’t available in time to feature the laptop in our 3D feature, but the A665 is available to buy now, with prices starting at £1299
